True Moringa is a local black-owned beauty brand with products in Whole Foods. True Moringa's mission was centered on sustainable and minimal ingredients to achieve maximum results.
True Moringa made a large impact in their community: serving 5000 farming families in Ghana, planted 2 million moringa trees, and increased farmer incomes by 4-10x. 
Guerilla Marketing Society
Guerrilla Marketing Society (GMS) is a pro-bono marketing agency at Boston University. GMS places an emphasis on guerilla marketing tactics which are low-cost, but high-impact strategies. 
Throughout 12-15 weeks, Account Managers and Strategic Planners lead a team of 8-9 marketing consultants to conduct industry research and analysis including SWOT, Porter's 5 Forces, competitive social media benchmarketing, and how to make our clients stand out.
We create tailored marketing campaigns for clients to:
1. Increase brand awareness
2. Increase multichannel media engagement

3. Improve retail & online sales
For True Moringa, their goals for Account Managers' campaigns were:
1. Strategies to recruit brand ambassadors to run in-store product demos and sampling events
2. Turn existing customers into repeat users/subscribers 
3. acquire new customers interested in ethically sourced natural skincare & wellness products 
Individual Contributions 
During the Fall of 2022, I worked as an Account Manager that led 9 marketing consultants to create 3 guerilla and 3 non-guerilla marketing tactics for the company, True Moringa, a local black-owned beauty company with products in Whole Foods. True Moringa's mission was centered on sustainable and minimal ingredients to achieve maximum results. 
Other tasks included: 
1. Creating a 15-question survey to analyze target demographic
2. Surveys often collect over 150 responses, but in True Moringa's case, collected over 200+ responses
3. Creating target personas based on the client's targeted demographics
4. Creating a SWOT analysis
5. Researching competition brands' social media channels (Instagram)

Lastly, I designed and created the presentation above and presented as a team front of the executive board of GMS and the COO of our client.
